Our Story

We started Local Rentals DFW with one goal: to create close-to-home escapes for people who need a break from city life without a long drive. It all began with our lake house purchase near Lake Tawakoni. We spent weekends here fishing, grilling by the fire pit, and enjoying the peaceful views.

As our family shared this space with friends, we saw how much others loved it too. That inspired us to open it up for short-term rentals and add our RV and boat so guests could enjoy every part of the lake lifestyle.
